This video was fun to make. Our band had just been to UIL Contest that week and earned a Sweepstakes rating from their judges! We celebrated by strapping two GoPros to our kids. One on a trombone slide and the other on a snare drummer. All recording and editing was done by me. - Falll 2022

This is my choir at St. Mark's Methodist Church in Marshall, Texas performing Nativity Suites by Benjamin Harlan. I rehearsed this cantata for about two months with the choir. The orchestra is made up of mostly high school students. We held one rehearsal with the orchestra before the performance. Christmas 2015.
The video above is me conducting a rehearsal with a high school saxophone quartet while student teaching (Spring 2013) Again this was while I was student teaching. I've grown as a director since then. The piece is called "Just For Show" by Lennie Niehaus.
